persolog is facing this question. Under this premise we develop learning instruments around social and personal competences for training, coaching, personnel development and company health management. In Germany alone, more than 6,800 trainers and personnel managers trained by us work with the scientifically based models, questionnaires and seminar concepts - there are more than 9,800 worldwide - and around 300 more are added every year. We work with 14 partners on all five continents.
persolog Verlag: Learning Instruments for Social and Personal Competence
The basis of the success of our learning instruments is an analysis of the actual state of one's own behaviour. Building on this, they lead to concrete, practical action strategies. The profiles, questionnaires, books and seminar documents convince through their pragmatism, their action orientation and the scientific basis.
✔ Quality is a matter of course.
The persolog models have been developed and constantly reviewed together with professors, psychologists and universities for 45 years. The high-quality materials are widely accepted by seminar participants and coachees.
✔ Gain flexibility for complex projects.
The learning instruments are linked at the theoretical level. All learning instruments are modular and can be integrated into higher-level concepts.
persolog Academy: Certifications for personnel managers, trainers, coaches, consultants
HR managers, trainers, coaches and consultants, but also managers and employees in responsible positions attend the events of the persolog Academy. The certifications and practical seminars take place regularly throughout the German-speaking area. In public seminars as well as in internal company events, we show how social and personal competence can be developed sustainably.
✔ Stay independent.
Comprehensible materials and practical exercises promote independent work with the instruments. In-house solutions make it possible to integrate your own trainers and training concepts.
✔ Use exclusivity as a unique selling point.
Certified trainers receive exclusive access to questionnaires, concepts and exercises of individual models.

According to the latest state of research
The persolog® models are instruments that are constantly being further developed at their high level and in their various forms. The research not only relates to the USA, as with other providers, but also to the German-speaking area. This not only ensures clear results in terms of accuracy and reliability, but also considers and appreciates the social and socio-cultural environment in the survey and in the results.
Both as a provider and as a user, persolog GmbH is involved in the continuous further development of the models and learning instruments. | Scientific Report
Decades of research
The author and founder of the personality model Professor Dr. John G. Geier originally called his static, typifying personality model "DiSC Personal Profile System" with the behavior dimensions Dominant, Initiative, Steady and Conscientious - short D, I, S & G. In cooperation with persolog GmbH he further developed his personality model into the dynamic, context- and situation-related persolog® model. The persolog® Model is unique worldwide in its quality, because comprehensive validity and reliability tests were repeatedly carried out in different languages according to international standards (Big Five) and the best results were achieved. In order to strengthen the employees' mutual understanding, Professor Geier developed his new model for self-knowledge in a non-clinical context between 1970 and 1972. In the early 1970s, his profile represented a revolution in teaching. His one-sided focus on the workplace prompted him to further develop his personality profiles in 1990, adding descriptive, prescriptive and predictive factors to the model. In 2004, Professor Geier transferred the rights to his new concepts and products to persolog GmbH and completed his development work in cooperation with the persolog GmbH team of experts.
In 2012, persolog GmbH published the first study covering the period from June 2008 to July 2011. This study provides an overview of the anonymous data of interviewees and their behavioural styles in connection with their demographic data such as gender, age, education, profession, management responsibility, industry and origin. The high number of respondents is exemplary (n-value). In Germany, Switzerland and Austria, 7,232 persons were interviewed. Please note the information on leadership behaviour of women and men. They are absolutely outstanding!persolog® Personality Reports:
The classics among the personality models have been convincing for years with their holistic approaches, objectivity and reliability of results, quality, precise and comprehensible language as well as an unrivalled price-performance ratio. They can be used wherever behaviour plays a role and are particularly suitable for emotional education. The big plus: the basic model can be adapted and extended modularly and tailor-made to individual customer needs.
Differentiated self-assessment instead of an impersonal personality test
The persolog® models are not impersonal tests in the conventional sense, but a holistic self-assessment. This analyses one's own behaviour and points out other behavioural styles. Misunderstandings are thus reduced, self-doubt is reduced, understanding and the ability to communicate are increased, so that possible conflicts cannot arise in the first place. The situational approach leads to a strengthening and targeted further development of one's own personality.
